The crown finish is the most standardised thing in glass packaging. A crimped steel cap has closed beer bottles the same way for over a century, and the finish it grips is defined so tightly that your capper does not care whose bottle arrives. A brewery can therefore change glass suppliers without touching your line.
What 26 H 180 Names
Two numbers and a letter. The 26 is the nominal outside diameter in millimetres. The H is the height, and the 180 is that height in tenths of a millimetre, so a 26 H 180 finish stands 18.0 mm tall. Its shallow sibling, 26 H 126, stands 12.6 mm and carries its own standard, ISO 12822.
ISO 12821 sets the tall finish out in five figures: the profile, the shoulder and bore, the crimping edge, and two detail views of the point where the cap's skirt folds under. Nothing about it is proprietary, and no supplier gets to have a private version.
The crimping edge does the work. Your capper folds the skirt under it, and the liner presses on the flat ring at the top. All 14 SGSBOTTLE lines in Shandong and Xuzhou inspect that ring before packing.

Crown Sizes Beyond 26 mm
Your beer, cider and soft drinks run on 26 mm across almost every market. Sparkling wine is the exception: the traditional method uses a 29 mm crown during secondary fermentation, covered by the Cetie GME 13.04 data sheet, and the bottle wears a cork and cage only after disgorging. Cider producers in some markets use 29 mm as well, and your 330 ml (11 oz) format is where you meet it most often.
There is also a twist crown, a 26 mm finish cut so the cap can be turned off by hand. It carries its own Cetie sheets, and it is not the same finish as a plain crown even though the cap looks alike. Your bottler tells you which one the line is set for.
What the Finish Does Not Decide
Pressure. A crown finish on your light 330 ml (11 oz) bottle and the same finish on a heavy 750 ml (25 oz) bottle hold very different pressures, because the glass carries the hoop stress and the finish only holds the cap. A 12 oz (355 ml) longneck is the same story. When your fill is carbonated, ask for the internal pressure resistance of that bottle design, tested to ISO 7458, and treat the neck as settled.
The other thing the finish does not decide is your bore clearance in practice. The standard gives minimums; a given design may run wider. On a high-speed filler that difference is throughput, so the drawing on your quotation states the figure for the bottle you are actually buying.
